Research subject for a potential FP6 project

The project brings a new method to analyse GHE in the environment of the selected technical places with very dangerous inorganic and organic emissions. The project proposal has selected the Novaky power plant station (Slovakia), Eordea brown coal basin (Greece) and North Bohemian basin (Czech Republic) both with power plants as models of places subjected to testing the emissions of GHE, that have an impact on the environment. This new approach contributes to reduction of the amount and concentrations of GHE (CH4, CO2, N2O etc.), organic compounds PAH, F-toxic elements: As, Cu, Pb, Mn, V, Cr, etc. The originality of the project is the fact, that it connects the problems of internal and external environment of the power plant, which is under the impact for a period of 10 years. The project is focused on the impact of toxic emissions created by the combustion of a low quality brown coal containing arsenic (realgar, auripigment), especially the influence of CH4, CO2, As, Hg, F on the life bio-cycle in the centre of GHE source.
The project applies modern physicochemical, technical, ecological and socio-economical methods, using the Monitoring System of GHE and toxic elements, statistical methods in order to generalise the impact of technical processes on the living environment. The project takes into account the recommendations of the International Energy Agency, World Energy Council for implementation of the Kyoto Protocol. The scientific approach solves some specific environmental problems of various nations, especially Romans, known as people with high capability to accommodate to hard life conditions.
