Research subject for a potential FP6 project
We are working on molecular and cellular aspects of sodium dependent neurotransmitter trans-porters with focus on GABA and Glycine transporters. Our current effort is to develop subtype specific antibodies allowing to distinguish physiology of GLY1,2 subtypes. We also work on functional aspects of extended N-terminal domain of glycine transporter GLYT2. Any new suggestion for collaboration in this field would be also appreciated (we are able to provide cell culture and immunohistochemical techniques as well as all basic molecular biology) |
